I am back from the blind date.  I am going on record that I will never go on another blind date.  All of them I have gone out with, except for today, have been big and ugly women.  No I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder so as far as I am concerned they were not attractive.  And truthfully I am not physically attracted to big women.  I know I am not built like Brad Pitt but I am not that far away from having a nice bod. 

Now as far as today date goes, she was a big girl but she was attractive in the face.  So from there it was going to see how me, Shallow Steve, was going to be about it.  So after lunch we went to the orchestra show.  I swear that was very boring.  I do appreciate the fine music that they do and the fact that the artists playing the instruments are extremely talented but man was that something I did not like. 

Before today, we had already planned on going to see the Charlie Daniels Band next week so at this point I will be seeing her again.  But here's the deal...

She is unemployed, going back to college, and has two kids.  She told me that the kids dad is a deadbeat and does not pay child support.  So you know what I think?  I think she is looking for someone to pay her bills for her and her kids. 

There is a slim chance that I am wrong about that but never the less it ain't going to be me.

So after next Saturday, or maybe before then, I am going to be upfront with her about that.  Besides, I am starting to talk to Sherrie again and I am hoping she has a change in heart about me.  I doubt it but I will give it one last try.
