Somehow I found Jimmy Buffet on Myspace.  I asked him to add me as a friend.  I am a big fan of JB.  I love his music.  Here is something that I would like to respond if he adds me.  Tell me what you think...

"I met you one time at Bentley's luggage at Dadeland Mall in 1985.  I was a 19 y/o working to make my way through college and you came in with two women looking for some luggage.  You had on a hat and some shades and back then I was not a fan of yours so I did not recognize you.  After helping you check out what we had you decided to buy some Andiamo luggage.  When we got to the register to check out and you asked if your order could be shipped to Key West.  "Sure" I said, "no problem."  Then you handed me your American Express and I saw your name on it.  Jimmy Buffet.  I then kept my composier and ran your sale through.  When your approval code came back for the purchase, I discretely asked "American Express wants your signature and so do I.  My name is Steve".  You thought that was a cool way of asking for it and you gave it to me.  My girlfriend at the time, Marcia, was a big fan of yours so I gave your autograph to her.  We broke up soon after that and she kept the sig. 

My favorite song of yours has to be "One Particular Harbor".  When I hear it, it always takes me to a place I used to know.  I place that my dad used to take me. 

On Saturdays dad would take me fishing.  He lived in Homestead back then.  He would always get me up too frigging early on Saturdays but we would tow the boat to some dock and set off to catch some fish and drink some beer.  I do not remember exactly when it happened but there came a time, some where in the Keys that I fell in love with the salty water and the anchors of the sea.  All I can remember is the feeling of home while resting on the boat, listening to some music, and bring anchored to some place in the Atlantic between the islands.  Our harbor.  That One Particular Harbor.  Then we would head to Gilberts for some rumrunners.

Thank you for that song.  I only hope that one day dad and I can visit that place again.  Wherever it is."
