Lawd, I just could not take it anymore.
See I believe that us bachelors do not have to adhere completely to the cleanliness moto. So most of the times I just pick things up around the house to keep the house somewhat in order just in case I get a social call. But now since fall has set in, the married, social folks just don' t stop by. Thats is o.k. by me but my kitchen seems to feel the brundt of that neglect.
I am not going to admit how long it has been since I took on the kitchen, not that I could remember anyways, but sometimes a man has to do what a man has to do.
CLEAN THE DAMN KITCHEN.
So I walked into the kitchen a little while ago to fry up some shrimp and I just could not take it anymore. The dirty flatware, plateware, smallware, frying pans and other stuff not withstanding. All of that and the paper plates and empty spice containers finally brought me to grab a beer, the Simple Green, the scrub brush, paper towels, some motive and I got busy.
I hate to clean but I love the results. Next is the floors. I hate the floors. But so long as I walk barefoot into the kitchen and feel little "things" underneath my feet, myself, the vacuum cleaner and Simple Green will have to matters in hand and send them into non-existense.
I need a maid. But now I have room to fry some shrimp so here I go.
