I am taking a vacation day tomorrow.  So that will mean a four day weekend and I need it.  Too bad I don't get to go and play somewhere.  There is an all day concert called "Rockin on the River" Saturday and I do plan on going to see some of the bands play that night.  My plans are to do some cleaning.  Lord knows this single guy can use it.  The kitchen.  The utility room.  Whew!  That will be a half a days work right there.  I have to admit that I hate to do the dishes until I have to.  More on that in a moment.

After I clean I plan on pulling the carpet and carpet tacks up.  That may take a while.  Not pulling the carpet but getting all of the tacks up.  My knee pads are ready, I bought the right tools so it will be as easy as it possibly can be.  But it must be done.  Then I will have to worry about what to do with my animals when I find that they did not want to wait to go outside to go to the bathroom.  Outside then they will stay.  Once I get the floors refinished, I am hoping the clean up will be easier.  The hardwood floors for my house were installed in 1945 when the house was built.  They were stained but that is all.

I am supposed to close on my house tomorrow.  I should be getting a ton of change out of the deal to refinish the floor and buy some appliances.  How nice it will be to have a washer and dryer again.  After that a dishwasher!  Ah, the luxuries of life.  No more Joy or Palmolive.  Cascade it will be!  The Lord works in mysterious ways! 

When that is through I am taking my aunt out for dinner.  She is selling me my grandfathers house for half the appraised value.  I really don't think I should have to pay since this house is part of my family, but a house for half of the value I can't walk away from.

I think Sunday I am going to grill out.  I may invite some friends over.  It is those times that I wish I was with someone, but oh well.

But I do look forward to my four day weekend.  Sleep in late I will.  Relax when I can, play when I should.  These are my plans.
