I did not have a good day today.  With everything going on with my mortgage loan purchase I was trying to do the dishes because I don't have a dishwasher and the sink backed up.  So IO spent about and hour trying to get it unclogged and found that the problem was not the sink itself but somethin else.  Something much worse than that.  The clog is in the pipes.  I am screwed, to put it midly.  Now I have a decision to make.  I need to save my cash to pay for closing costs or pay to have the drain fixed.  The bad thing is, I have the dough to it.  I am going to try to wait it out until Monday but I am afraid the smell of it will force me to do different.  I may have to wait to for a bit to buy this house.  Thinking about it that would be o.k. but what pisses me off the most is that this is a problem that I cannot fix myself.  Draino don't touch this.  Lye doesn't either.  I HATE the fact that I can't fix this myself.  I am o.k. if my car has major engine problems that I have to take it to the mechanic because I don't have the resources to do it myself.  Thats o.k. but to not be able to open up the fawcet and pour some water just irritates me to no end.  I was given an option by brokenpixie who said I should just go and buy an auger myself and do it.  Well I just might.  If I can stand the smell long enough.
