The view from Dad's place

My digital camera came in today.  I have no idea how to use it.  I did get it turned on, though.  The picture seems to have a red tint to it but since it is late at night and there is not much light in my living room that does not bother me, yet.  So I read the instruction book and I will have to read it again just to make sure I can do this thing right.  Looks like this thing can make small movies too.  I will say this, the pictures seems to crisp, very crisp.  Tomorrow I plan on giving it a shot and taking pictures of something.  This will be my trial and error lesson.  When I was reading the instructions, I noticed that there is a setting for sports.  Well I just got back from the game tonight, which btw Oak Ridge rolled on the Sevier County team like a log on a river and I thought if I can figure this thing out by next week I could take some pics at the game!  So that is goal for this week among other things.  Go Wildcats!!!
